As a personal poll for another Rp that I'm having an argument in...:

As creator of this RP more or less I have sole say in what goes on, correct? If somebody disappears for days/weeks on ends, doesn't respond to messages trying to figure out what's happened, and then when they return doesn't bring themselves back into the RP... nor do they listen to advice given to reintroduce their characters... do they honestly have the right to disbute actions taken to forward the RP and try to turn everything around on the mod saying that by being invited into the RP gives them the right to be in on the decisions made to further the plots, etc?

And yeah, if it was me that had been gone for long periods of time that would have given them the right to make all the crucial decisions. My point was- they were gone for a long time and wouldn't answer any messages or agree on any sort of reintroduction for the characters and then got irritated at me because another friend and I were in the midst of our own scenes...

So I noticed some ideas floating around in the comment box, will somebody kindly summarize for me since my brain's not really processing everything right now...

2010-02-08 [Pnelma Tirian]: my theory is that if you destroy your weakness stone, you get one powerful wish and you get to go home--but it destroys the world you're currently on. Everyone who still has their stone gets teleported to a different world.

For the characters who don't have an opposing PERSON attached to their weakness stone, the only thing is to find the stone and destroy the world they're on. For the characters who DO still have a person attached to the stone, they're faced with the aspect of killing another character AND destroying the world.

Another theory is that the if you break your weakness stone, you get all of its powers.

Anyway, I just suggested that because so few rp's actually come to a cohesive ending. They would find all of this out in the temple scene that's coming up, where all the exposition is done and all the stones are activated.

The trouble with dividing the group into good and evil is that there is nothing really to divide the group over, and worse yet--none of our characters are inherently evil. We have a former police officer, a police officer, a revolutionary, an disgraced-but-honorable samurai, a self-imposed exile, a salt-of-the-earth noblewoman, and a weapons-happy college student. None of them really have evil intentions.

BUT, they would all do evil for the right reasons--killing one person to save another, or to save someone they love--so ultimately it becomes a personal choice. Some of them get off easy, without having to kill anyone, and some can choose to switch with their opposite to suffer the consequences but spare the others, and some will kill and destroy worlds to protect/retrieve/get who and what they love.

2010-02-09 [Aeolynn]: What if we skip the whole evil thing? What if, in the temple are some trials, and the whole idea is to take the pain of another, to be selfless. If they can withstand the other stone, or offer themselves to harm to save another, then their weakness to the stone disappears and they unite all sailormoon like and wisk back off to their times? The problem is they all have to do so willingly (ignoring the dead ones) for it to work.
